Went on Tuesday. They had Bar food half price. We both had Sirloin steak with tobacco onions and skinny fries. Sauce was Bourguignon. It was lovely. So tasty. Highly recommend it. Definetely worth a visit.
Went tues 19th Nov, had a meal with the family, food was lovely ,when back in area will definitely pop in
L.J’s Tavern provided outside catering for a family event, buffet style hot food delivered to our door to cater for 30 people. The food was absolutely delicious and stayed hot for up to an hour in hotboxes. We were delighted with the service, price and most importantly the quality of food. I would highly recommend L.J’s Tavern for any party or special event. 5star rating.

Amazing food, best sirloin steak I had in awhile, chicken burger amazing, starters wer lovely and the hospitality was great. Shout out to the chef and her cooking and the manager for making us feel so welcome. Great place, definitely be back. Would highly recommend.

Just popped in as I was walking past today. Took the notion for a bite to eat and wanted something more than lunch. Totally unplanned and spur of the moment. It wasn't on the menu, but the waitress/bar attendant was really thoughtful, and went and consulted the chef. Came back and told me it wouldn't be a problem. Very attentive throughout the meal to make sure everything was to my pleasing. Service and quality of food here is not a issue to these members of staff who were working today. Lovely peaceful surroundings, couple of friendly locals sitting at the bar. Just what you want when you pop in for a bite to eat on your tod. There is an outside seating area also. I preferred to sit in the cool, appropriately lit bar and enjoy a bit of shade. Definitely will be giving it a try with numbers with me next time and on a Friday/Saturday night. Seems to cater for the one stop shop, great food, then some nice drinks, followed by a good line up of different entertainment.
Stopped here for lunch on our way home from a weekend away and I can honestly say that it deserves more than 5 stars (the kids said they would give them infinity stars). The food was delicious and the staff were both friendly and efficient. Me and my partner have agreed that we'll have to make a return trip so we can try the cocktails! Highly recommend
